Hi spoke to samsung he said he hasn't heard of it before and basically just done a reset on the watch. Have to wait to see gris gris bag for money anything changes today and if not have to call them back tomorrow.
Android Wear is super handy for getting quick info without pulling out your phone. Notifications, calls, appointments, and everything else will push directly to your wrist, making life easier. But if those notifications stop showing up, it can be really annoying.
To get started, pull down the notification shade and tap the gear icon. From there, scroll down to Apps. In the Apps menu, tap the gear icon. Hopefully that will fix your issue. All other notifications were coming through just fine, so I had to do some digging to figure this one out. Turns out, the issue was with the Android Wear app privileges.
First, pull down the notification shade, then tap the gear icon. Makes sense. The thing is, this is handled on the watch side, not the phone. Use this new power for good, young grasshopper. Most devices are affected such as: S7, S8, S9, Note 9 and similar. This is related to "doze" feature of android phone, where samsung optimization whitelist options are not working correctly thus affecting almost all samsung phones. There is currently only one temporarly solution working, which is disabling doze using adb console. This workaround is temporarly and works until next reboot. It requires setting phone to debug mode and connecting to it. Samsung is totally ignoring the technical issue since at least 6 months or more.
There are multiple threads all over the web about such problem existing. The issue is making phone totally unusuable for people who rely on instant notifications, such as alerts related to financial services like declining stock rates and similar.
I dont understand why such critical thing like delivering notifications in time is totally ignored by samsung.
The issue is not present on any other android phones. If you have ability to contact someone of samsung development team, please forward this thread to make sure there will be finally reaction. Please reply to this thread if you have same issue. I am also experiencing this same issue and tried using the smasung email app instead of the gmail app.
Not sure what else to do but maybe think about going with iPhone, as much as I hate to do that. Yep having the same issue here. Even with the phone on its delayed by 10 to 20 minutes then I get spammed with 15 notifications in one go.
It's getting pretty annoying. Disabled battery saver, individually selected apps exempt from being put to sleep or blocked. Done everything even contacted Samsung and all they could help me with was selecting all apps to receive notifications and tell me to reset the network and reset settings.
Tried downloading apps to help fix it but nothing. I just want them to atleast acknowledge that they have a major issue right now with all their phones. Not try to tell me that my provider is to blame or apps or anything else without accepting responsibility for a firmware update that has made this phone one expensive paperweight.
Major problem for me on my S7. Late emails and push notifications not occuring until I unlock the screen. My Ipad, android tablet, and LG G3 receive notifications instantly with screen locked. I held off buying the S9 to wait for the S10 but now considering alternate to Samsung.

My provider is T-Mobile and they have sent my phone to be fixed in authorized service.
They did only factory reset and said that there is no problem whatsoever. That surely left me in rage. I have also tried every possible mention of a fix online and still nothing. I’m not getting notifications on my watch
Except for the fact that there's no notification support for work profile apps? Has anyone figured out a workaround for this? Here's the details of my setup on my Pixel 3a XL:. My workplace requires us to set up a "work profile" on our phones, already part of Android OS, which provides app level encryption.
Keeps things secure and seperate from apps that are under the personal profile. I downloaded Galaxy Wear from the personal play store, and everything worked great except my calendar and email notifications were restricted to personal GCal and Gmail only, no work profile apps listed in the notifications settings at all, with no option to switch to work profile.
So I reset and uninstalled everything galaxy wear, active2 plugin and tried the same setup process but this time from the work profile Play Store I see the apps there, but I'm getting an error from the plugin that says "notifications access is not available for apps in the work profile". I need to be able to see my work calendar and email notifications on my watch.
That's a big reason why I got the watch in the first place. Have the issue. The whole reason for getting the watch was to get work schedule notifications. But this makes it useless for that. Any resolution on this? Now there is an outlook app too for samsung watch, does that help in getting notifications?
This problem has been around pretty much since Work Profiles first showed up. There's a work around some people have talked about specifcally on Samsung phones, but other than that, there's never even been a reply as far as I've seen.
If you look at Notifications in Galaxy Wear, it doesn't even list the Work Profile apps, so basically it's a complete non-starter until Samsung change it, which they've shown no interest in doing for the last couple of years at least.
It seems like it's a problem for more people than just Samsung. Although they mention Samsung in this thread I have a feeling work profiles introduced some extra layers of security that even Google has to break down.
Guess I'm going to have to use my watch as At least it looks cool. Facing the same problem. Has Samsung or Google acknowledged whether t are working on it? Do you have any other watch software loaded? I realised I had the mi fit app that I used with my amazfit bip.
